Trypto Soy Agar Dehydrated Media 500g Overview

Trypto Soy Agar (Soybean-Casein Digest Agar) is a general purpose agar medium which may be used for the cultivation of fastidious and non- fastidious aerobic and anaerobic microorganisms. A blood agar medium may be prepared by adding 5 to 10% sterile defibrinated blood. TSA with 5% sheep blood is useful for the isolation and determination of hemolytic reactions of Staphylococcus sp., Streptococcus sp. and other pathogenic microorganisms found in the upper lower respiratory tract, blood, cerebrospinal fluid, minor lesions and other clinical specimens. *Blood agar appears bright blood red and opaque.. Instructions for use and preparation are provided as well as a Certificate of Analysis.
